I tend to avoid posting because I feel like I have to set aside hours to think of what is significant enough in my life to chat about. Well I gotta make this post snappy given the dilemma here that I have a test coming up here which I haven't quite gotten around to studying for. I am studying about ADHD for one of my education classes so I figured side-tracking from studying would be a practical little study tip. You know, it's like taking a field trip or experimental learning..something like that..?
Hmmm..well we had formal this past weekend which was lots of fun. I tend to be the go-to-bed-around9pm-kind-of-girl but with my really awesome friends, super handsome date, too much hairspray, and some serious coffee, I successfully stayed awake until the bus ride home. Here is a pic.

To say that I am obsessed with my roomies would be one of the biggest understatements ever. I really really really do love them so much. All 4 of them. It's really cool to see how the Lord has developed such a sweet bond between us and has really grown all of our individual relationships with each other. We have so much fun together. If you ever need a good laugh or cry (Sarah, Hannah and I are the cryers so come to our rooms), want to try the newest recipe from foodgawker (call Sydney), want to go rollerblading (Mal & Hannah's specialty), want to hear the latest gossip from Hollywood (hello Sarah), then you best be making your way to the "Crunchy Pad." Yes, that is the name of our lovely little apartment. Someone decided to name our apartment this since the Chi-O's at Auburn have that whole hippie/granola/never shower rep. Interestingly original name, yes. Please allow me to give a brief little snippet of my friends. When I have a few spare hours I will give you a full biography of all of them with embarrassing individual pics to go along. But for now, I'll just tell you my 3 descriptive words (Sarah's tool for describing anything..always use 3 adjectives!) and my favorite thing that I like to do with each of them.
From the left, we have Mallory aka Malsrpal10. Mallory is the best listener, peaceful, and adventurous. This is so simple, but I just love hugging Mal. She's just that kind of person that gives the best, tight hugs that don't happen too often so when they do they are the best. Hey Mal, I love your hugs, k?
Next we have THE Sarah Morriss. Aka Sawah or Saymo. We are probably most entertained by Sarah. Sawah is so passionate about the good things in life, talented, and joyful. I love laughing with Sarah. She has one of those laughs that is just absolutely contagious. But my real favorite thing to do with Sarah is have a conversation in Spanish/Italian. Sarah speaks in Italian and I will respond and Spanish and we can pretty much carry on a conversation because the languages are so similar..we are so nerdy.
Now we have Hannah Banana. Hannah is so genuine, adventurous and knows how to get things done. You know what I love to do with Hannah? I love to go visit her and her awesome family on vacation! I got to go see her at her lakehouse in Michigan and her real home in Chicago..pretty sweet I must admit.
And last but definitely not least we have sweet Sydney. Sydney is so thoughtful, playful and hard-working. I get to share a room with Sydney this year and next year so my favorite thing that I get to do with her definitely would have to be pillow-talking. Hey Syd, wouldn't you say we've had some really sweet and hilarious pillow talks over the year?
Yay! That was just an intro for my precious roomies. Thank you Jesus for my sweet friends. I have seriously learned so much from each of them and have been incredibly encouraged every single day while sharing our Crunchy Pad together. I love my roomies!!!
Here's another pic. Formal would definitely not be the same without having the best date ever. People, check out my good looking date! Is he not so precious and handsome? He makes me laugh and feel like the most special girl in the whole world. We will save a more detailed post for Jacob later :)
I am having a seriously hard time getting started on studying. Wanna know why? Well I am leaving in 2 hours for a 4 day weekend roadtrip woo hooo!!!!! I get to go to one of my favorite places in the whole wide world, Jacob's farm in Franklin, TN. He is taking me to the Amos Lee concert on Friday night and then we're going to go turkey hunting on Saturday morning (he wants me to "blast my first gobblehead"..yikes, pics to come) and then to the Farmer's market. And my favorite, we get to play on his farm with the baby goats!!!!!! They are so stinkin' cute. See the pic? Does it not warm your heart? And then we get to go hear Heidi Baker at Grace Center on Sunday morning. But tonight we are staying in B'ham with my fam and then again on Sunday night. Yippie I get the best of both worlds this weekend! All in all, I'm super pumped about it. Holla!!

Nobody can love us the way that Jesus does. That's just awesome and the greatest revelation that's ever been brought to me. The Father's love. I try to think about the people that love me the most and then just try to imagine how much more God loves His children. And it is just so much more than sufficient for me.

Your roomies are so cute! I wish I was still at AU and could live in the Crunchy Pad! Umm, when do I get to go to LLL? I've been waiting patiently long enough. It's time I get to play with goats and collect some chicken eggs too!
